Linda Brown is trained as a secondary school art instructor. She has taught 9 years in public schools. She is currently the owner of Dry Creek Fibers, that sells new and used spinning and weaving equipment.

Linda has been weaving for over 25 years and teaching various aspects of the craft for 20 years.

GO Date

July 8, 2008

The GO date is the date when, if the minimum number of students has registered, we know the class will be held. If the minimum number of students has not registered by the GO date, the class will be canceled. So be sure and register early to help ensure your class will be held.

 

Course Description

Learn the art of weaving!

This is a beginning four harness loom weaving class in which the student will complete a neck scarf of colored cotton yarns. All basic information will be covered on the steps taken to complete the scarf as well as design considerations for future projects. Each student will work on a small four harness loom to complete the project.

  
Prices

Pay in full before the GO date and receive a 10% discount on the price of the class.

$ 145 non-members WCA - $ 132 if paid in full before GO date
$ 132 members - $ 120 if paid in full before GO date

We must receive your registration and a 50% deposit by the GO date in order to know if the class will make.

  
Notes

Supply list to be provided by students:

Good pair of scissors.
Note: There will be a $25 fee payable to the instructor at the time of class for use of looms, assorted equipment, and yarns for the completed weaving project.
