A FREE Community Workshop with Maryo Ewell
(of Colorado Council on the Arts and the Community Resource Center) on
Grant Opportunities for Artists and Organizations through CCA
and
Increasing Cultural Participation
This workshop has two parts. In Part 1, Maryo Ewell will review grant opportunities for artists and organizations through the Colorado Council on the Arts, a state agency. CCA's primary grant deadline is March 12, 2009. Grants are available in: Business Development Services, Cultural Heritage, Arts Learning, and Increasing Cultural Participation.
Increasing Cultural Participation, the category attracting the most applicants, refers to the strategic thinking that arts groups need to undertake during the rocky years ahead. So in Part 2 of this workshop, Ewell will describe this approach and discuss its value - whether you are plan to apply for a CCA grant or not.
Maryo Ewell will represent the CCA in Part 1; in Part 2, she will also represent the Community Resource Center, charged by the CCA with the task of helping Coloradoans understand the principles of Increasing Cultural Participation.
This workshop is FREE.
