Carla Kelly is experienced in: painting (acrylics and oils), custom glass etching, sand carving and blasting, and woodcarving in addition to creating elegantly sculpted eggs. She sculpts many types of eggs, from ostrich to common hen eggs. She holds online classes in egg scultping and engraving

The GO date is the date when, if the minimum number of students has registered, we know the class will be held. If the minimum number of students has not registered by the GO date, the class will be canceled. So be sure and register early to help ensure your class will be held.

 

Course Description

This class is an introduction to egg sculpting and engraving.

In this demonstration, you will learn about the history of egg art, different types of egg art, and the tools needed to carve eggshells. The demo will be followed by a question and answer session.

Notes

The instructor will supply samples of her work, CD on egg carving, laptop computer demo, burs and tools needed to do carving, as well as eggshells.
