Sheryl has been teaching Horticulture and Landscape Professions at the Delta Montrose Technical College for the past five years. She began eight years ago teaching and coordinating Gardening classes with the Colorado Master Gardeners through the DMTC Community Education program. She loves to teach. The joy seeing the lights go on in a students' eye is priceless. She works very closely with each student to assist them to realize their dreams of a new career in a field that combines science, beauty and mathematics. She is an advocate for each student.

| GO Date | July 5, 2008 The GO date is the date when, if the minimum number of students has registered, we know the class will be held. If the minimum number of students has not registered by the GO date, the class will be canceled. So be sure and register early to help ensure your class will be held. | ||

| Course Description |
Discover the factors that make gardening on the Western Slope unique. Explore factors such as soils, sunlight, heat, cold and drought. Learn to overcome the challenges and have a successful garden. Hands on exercises make this class fun and informative. Bring a one quart sample of your soil to class to understand the keys to success. See the top ten plants for our area.
