GO
Date |
June 20, 2010 The "go" date is the date at which WCA determines whether there are enough students or not to run the class. If this is a class you are interested in, please be sure to enroll before the "Go" date (and encourage your friends to do so as well) so that we can be sure to run the class! We will notify you at the end of the business day on the "GO" date if the class is to be cancelled so that you can make other plans for that date, but ideally, we'll see you at the class! |

Course
Description |
Join Steve Traudt and Dick Colby for this exciting, hands-on digital photography class! HDR is the hot topic in photography and now you can learn it too! HDR or “high dynamic range” lets us photograph scenes formerly impossible to capture in a single image. If you have ever photographed a high contrast scene, you know that even the best exposure will typically have blown out highlights and dark shadows. The HDR process involves shooting several shots at various exposures and then combining them with a very special software, called Photomatix Pro. Photographers can now photograph difficult scenes and hold detail in both the shadows and highlights. Output can be adjusted for realistic or exaggerated color. Scenes you would not have even tried to photograph become routine. In this hands-on class, you will learn everything you need to know from image capture through software processing. As usual, Steve will demystify the process and have you producing jaw-dropping results! This is cool stuff. If you are ready to take your photography to a higher, more creative level, you will love this class. Visit www.synvis.com to see many examples of HDR photography. Sign up soon! |
