About the Instructor:

Rose Walsh is a Ridgway based Artist and Teacher bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the studio classes that she teaches. Her classes, offered in a variety of media, focus on the joy of creation as students learn the basics of the medium being taught. From her still life’s and contemporary scenes, as well as, her experimental explorations, Rose is never at a loss for subject matter. She creates intuitively using color, texture and composition for emotional impact reflecting her perception of life. She enjoys working in a variety of media and does not hesitate to mix media, if she finds it necessary to her expression. Walsh sculpts in a variety of media, as well as, creates jewelry in silver, fused glass and gemstones. She has won awards in regional and national shows and her work is in private and public collections.
