SUMMARY:The Corpse Bride MS/HS Theatre Workshop
DESCRIPTION:[cs_content][cs_element_section _id=”1″ ][cs_element_layout_row _id=”2″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”3″ ][cs_text] \nStudents participating in this fall workshop will create a performance based on an original adaptation of Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride. \nSet back in the late 1800s in a Victorian village\, a man and woman by the names of Victor Van Dort and Victoria Everglot are betrothed because the Everglots need the money or else they’ll be living on the streets and the Van Dorts want to be high in society. But when things go wrong at the wedding rehearsal\, Victor goes into the woods to practice his vows. Just as soon as he gets them right\, he finds himself married to Emily\, the corpse bride. While Victoria waits on the other side\, there’s a rich newcomer that may take Victor’s place. So two brides\, one groom\, who will Victor pick? \nClasses begin Tuesday September 8\, and run Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-6:00 pm. Open to grades 6-12. All state and county public health protocols will be followed. Class will start and end at Sherbino Theater\, but will rehearse outdoors whenever possible. \n[/cs_text][/cs_element_layout_column][cs_element_layout_column _id=”5″ ][x_button size=”global” block=”false” circle=”false” icon_only=”false” href=”https://apm.activecommunities.com/weehawkenarts/Activity_Search/3564″ title=”” target=”blank” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][x_icon type=”o-share” class=”mvn mln mrs”]Register Online Today![/x_button][x_gap size=”50px”][x_feature_list][x_feature_box title=”Date” title_color=”” text_color=”” graphic=”icon” graphic_size=”60px” graphic_shape=”circle” graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_bg_color=”rgb(0\,198\,180)” align_h=”left” align_v=”top” side_graphic_spacing=”20px” max_width=”none” child=”true” connector_width=”1px” connector_style=”dashed” connector_color=”#272727″ graphic_icon=”calendar-alt”]Tuesdays & Thursdays\, September 8-October 8[/x_feature_box][x_feature_box title=”Time” title_color=”” text_color=”” graphic=”icon” graphic_size=”60px” graphic_shape=”circle” graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_bg_color=”rgb(0\,198\,180)” align_h=”left” align_v=”top” side_graphic_spacing=”20px” max_width=”none” child=”true” connector_width=”1px” connector_style=”dashed” connector_color=”#272727″ graphic_icon=”clock”]3:30-6:00 pm[/x_feature_box][x_feature_box title=”Location” title_color=”” text_color=”” graphic=”icon” graphic_size=”60px” graphic_shape=”circle” graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_bg_color=”rgb(0\,198\,180)” align_h=”left” align_v=”top” side_graphic_spacing=”20px” max_width=”none” child=”true” connector_width=”1px” connector_style=”dashed” connector_color=”#272727″ graphic_icon=”map-marker-alt”]Sherbino Theater and Ridgway Town Park[/x_feature_box][x_feature_box title=”Cost” title_color=”” text_color=”” graphic=”icon” graphic_size=”60px” graphic_shape=”circle” graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_bg_color=”rgb(0\,198\,180)” align_h=”left” align_v=”top” side_graphic_spacing=”20px” max_width=”none” child=”true” connector_width=”1px” connector_style=”dashed” connector_color=”#272727″ graphic_icon=”o-money-bill-alt”]$185 tuition for 5 week program[/x_feature_box][/x_feature_list][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content][cs_content_seo]Students participating in this fall workshop will create a performance based on an original adaptation of Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride.\nSet back in the late 1800s in a Victorian village\, a man and woman by the names of Victor Van Dort and Victoria Everglot are betrothed because the Everglots need the money or else they’ll be living on the streets and the Van Dorts want to be high in society.
