I’m Tamra Evangelista\, and I live in Ouray\, Colorado. I’ve been a licensed Zumba Fitness Instructor & Zin Member since Jun 2010. I started my teaching career in Pennsylvania\, New York\, and Boston. Then in 2018\, I relocated out west where I taught regularly in Sun Valley\, ID before moving to Ouray\, CO. \n\n\n\nI absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! We laugh and sweat. The workout almost comes as a secondary thought. I love supporting my students at whatever level they are currently physically and watching them develop new connections to their bodies and movement. I love creating a safe and comfortable space for my participants to explore stepping out of their comfort zone a little bit each time. \n\n\n\nI am currently licensed to teach Zumba\, Zumba® Toning\, Zumba Gold®\, Zumba® Kids & Kids Jr.\, and have been AFAA (Athletic and Fitness Association of America) certified since 2012. I also have my WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certification and am fully CPR/AED Certified. \n\n\n\nOutside of class\, I am an Integrative Empowerment Coach\, help run our family’s apparel brand at ThirtySecondsOut.com\, work part-time at Sauvage Spectrum wines in Ouray\, and generally love being a part of our community here. I am married and have two beautiful fur-sons (my cats). I love to rock climb\, ski\, hike\, drink wine\, cook\, read\, and am a bit of a goofball at times.
