Spring is the natural time to detoxify and refresh our bodies. Come aid this process through beneficial and gentle detoxifying herbs and get ready to move into spring and summer with a renewed body, mind and spirit.
In this class students will:
Learn about nutritive and detoxifying herbs to support springtime cleansing, improved digestion and personal vitality.
Learn how to create their own herbal cleansing formula that they will take home with them.
Learn which foods support the liver and gallbladder, the “workhorses” of the digestive system.
Learn about the Traditional Chinese Element metaphors for the Wood Element, which is associated with the season of Spring.

About Sheila Manzagol: Sheila is the founder of Shining Mountain Herbs. She has a year-round private practice at Rocky Mountain Integrative Medicine in Ridgway where she is an herbalist and kinesiology specialist, helping clients through herbal formulations, Brain Gym and Touch for Health. Sheila has studied Traditional Chinese, Western and Ayurvedic herbal medicine with the East West School of Herbology where she received her certificate as a Professional Herbalist. She previously worked at Stanford University conducting AIDS and other immunological research and an additional nine years were dedicated to the biotechnology industry.
