Young artists will explore a variety of Christmas-themed projects, including creating mixed-media reindeer wall hangings, Sanna Annukka-inspired acrylic reindeer paintings, and metal-embossed ornaments! Our ongoing after-school classes provide a diverse range of art materials and techniques, sparking creativity through age-appropriate art projects such as chalk and oil pastel drawings, acrylic and watercolor painting, sculpting, printmaking, and mixed-media exploration.
Artists in this class will develop:
- Artistic skills and craftsmanship
- Self-esteem and social-emotional skills
- Self-expression, creativity, and imagination!
* This class is a drop-off class. Ms. Claudia meets her students at the elementary school preschool/kindergarten gate at 3:00pm and escorts them to the Cora classroom. Parents who drop off their children can meet the group at the Cora classroom at ~3:15pm.
* Should your child have any special needs please contact claudia@weehawkenarts.org before class to ensure that your child will have a fun time.
* Voyager add-on option: Voyager teachers will meet and escort students after art class and provide after school care from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Parents pick up their children at Voyager at 280 N Cora Street.
Cost: $60 for the 3 week session
