Online Watercolor Art Series with Anne Hockenberry

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Thursday, repeating until May 21, 2020

Each week, you’ll be guided through the steps to create a finished watercolor painting. Using a variety of techniques, this online class takes the basics of watercolor to the next level.

In addition to weekly tutorials, you’ll receive a downloadable resource guide with basics and tips for using watercolors. Some watercolor experience is beneficial, but these tutorials will be simple and guided, so prior experience is not necessary.

  • Week 1 – Florals – Receive instruction on creating loose florals as well as detailed botanical art.
  • Week 2 – Landscapes – try a variety of techniques to paint elements of a landscape and then put it all together.
  • Week 3 – Still life – learn composition, painting backgrounds, and shading to create a still life piece.
  • Week 4 - Animal Art – create a pet portrait or other animal painting
