Pick up your pencil and learn some new creative skills! In session 1 of this ongoing class we will show you how to sketch, shade, and make pictures come alive on paper using graphite pencils, pastels, ink and/or charcoal. You will learn drawing techniques such as hatching, shading, value, form, and positive & negative space in a relaxed atmosphere – prompted by a new, fun drawing project each week that will leave you with plenty of techniques, tips and tricks so you become more confident in your own creativity and can keep on drawing with more skill & joy at home.
This class is a relaxing way to spend time with your friends, and also a great way to de-stress from screens and the busy world around you.
- This class is a drop-off class. Should your child have any special needs please contact claudia@weehawkenarts.org before class to ensure that your child will have a fun time.
