The Key to the Future Campaign is helping Weehawken move toward a future with sustainable, permanent, and vibrant spaces for the arts in our communities.
Through this campaign, we are working to pay down the purchase of 145 & 147 N. Cora in Ridgway—a permanent home that will provide space for Weehawken’s programs and future growth. As we retire the purchase cost of this property, it will open-up operating dollars for programming expenses and will put us on the path for future planning for the space.

For more than 20 years, Weehawken Creative Arts has been a cornerstone of arts education in Ouray County and Montrose, serving youth, adults, and families with programs in dance, visual and performing arts, aerial and circus arts, and more. Over the past decade, growing demand for Weehawken’s programs has outpaced the capacity of its rented facilities. The time has come for Weehawken to secure its existence in Ouray County and Montrose by investing in permanent spaces to call home.
