Statement About the Work… I paint with molten wax, using heat to fuse the brushstrokes. I dig and scrape the surface. I can smell the honey in the beeswax, feel the heat and the texture beneath my fingers, see the piece develop in my hands. I look for connections. I let the piece tell the story.

I am continually fascinated by connections, that interweaving of stuff; pathways, neighborhoods, artifacts, friends, family, etc. All the physical and emotional threads we share is are a constant source of wonderment for me. My art explores these connections. As you read this, we are now connected. Amazing!
