Join Erin Cawley for a week-long theatre camp for ages 6 -11 focused on the production of a short play at the end of the week. We’ll work on theatre skills, teamwork skills, prop and costume ideas/creation, theatre games, and more. The camp concludes with a performance on Friday, June 27th at the Wright Opera House Theatre. Doors open at 1:00 PM, and the show starts at 1:30 PM.
Tuition includes 2 complimentary show tickets per enrollment, additional tickets must be purchased at the door. About Erin Cawley:
Erin is a freelance director and theatre educator based in Ouray, CO. She is the executive director of the Ouray County Performing Arts Guild (OCPAG) and board president of Ouray Made. Prior to Ouray, she served as the chair of the Performing Arts Department at the Lincoln School in Providence, RI, where she oversaw theatre and music education for students from pre-K to 12th grade. She is also a proud SDC (Stage Directors and Choreographers Society) Associate Member. Erin received her undergraduate degree from Yale University in 2008 with a double major in Theatre Studies and Humanities and studied at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) with a focus in acting Shakespeare. She has worked in New York City as a literary associate with Abingdon Theatre Company. Erin trained in the MA Theatre program at Texas Tech University, focusing in directing.
