Celebrate the holiday season with a magical twist on a beloved classic! Weehawken Dance, under the artistic direction of Natasha Pyeatte, proudly presents "The Nutcracker - Remixed" at the Montrose Pavilion. This annual tradition brings together over 100 talented local dancers from Ouray, Montrose, Delta Counties, and beyond for a dazzling display of artistry, innovation, and holiday spirit.

Performance Schedule:

• December 11 – Clair en L'aire: A Special Aerial and Circus Performance – 6:00 PM
• December 12 & 13 – The Nutcracker - Remixed, Cast B – 6:00 PM
• December 14 – The Nutcracker - Remixed, Cast C – 6:00 PM
• December 15 – The Nutcracker - Remixed, Cast C – 1:00 PM

Additionally, on December 14, enjoy a live-streamed performance of Nutcracker Sweets at 12:00 PM (link on our hompage, starting at 11:45 am on the 14th), featuring the enchanting pre, primary and level 1/2 dancers supported by class assistants and upper-level lead dancers. Tune in via Weehawken’s website for this heartwarming showcase of young talent (donations to support the live stream costs are much appreciated!).

Weehawken’s Nutcracker Remixed breathes fresh life into Tchaikovsky’s traditional masterpiece with an exciting blend of dance genres. From aerial and circus acts to hip-hop, tap, and jazz, this vibrant production offers a feast for the senses. Signature scenes like the Waltz of the Snowflakes and the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy are infused with innovative choreography and high-energy performances, creating a show that is as lively and whimsical as it is enchanting.

Beyond the captivating dance numbers, audiences will enjoy appearances from local celebrity guests, bringing extra sparkle to this already glittering production.
