High Altitude Wildflower Walk & Talk

With warming temperatures and melting spring snow come the first blooms in the mountains. Join Ridgway writer Mary Menz and Montrose photographer Jim Pisarowicz as they share their extensive plant knowledge and flower-finding tips. Masks and social distancing required per state guidelines in place at the time. Participants will meet at the site.
The specific location for this guided experience will be shared one week prior to the event, depending on their scouting report.
Registration includes a copy of their book Common Wildflowers of the San Juan Mountains (2019).Dress for variable weather conditions! More information and directions will be provided one week prior to the event.
