PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR

Trisha Oakland

Trisha was born and raised in Ridgway, CO and has always been something of a social butterfly. She took her outgoing nature and channeled it into her studies of communications with a focus in marketing at University of Colorado in Boulder, and then moved into the world of event management in southern California. After almost a decade of special event management, which spanned everything from holiday parties to bar mitzvahs to a private Jackson Browne concert, she shifted focus to coordinating logistics and marketing for large scale cycling events nationwide, where she worked with Ride The Rockies, Bike Virginia, Gran Fondo Hincapie and more.

In 2016, she joined the Weehawken Creative Arts team as Director of Programs, where she has used her love of events and her passion for the arts to create a wide offering of programs for both adults and youth. In her free time, she enjoys adventures with her 14 year old daughter, who is an active participant in the Weehawken Dance program, riding and racing bikes, hiking and enjoying all the great activities available in her hometown. Her goal with her work at Weehawken is to build help create a program that stands alone in its art offerings and is a source of enrichment for all the communities involved.
